Market prices

What it shows

Under “Market prices” (menu), each row shows an item with the market median, the range (minimum–maximum) and how many shops contributed. When the name matches an item in your catalogue, “Your price” appears too. You can filter by repairs or parts.

A benchmark only appears once at least 3 shops share a price for the same item.

Sharing your prices (optional)

Turning on “Share your prices anonymously” sends the Cloud the name, category and price of the active items in your repair and parts catalogues. Whenever the catalogue changes, it's sent again and replaces the previous copy.

Turning sharing off deletes every price the shop sent from the Cloud. You can view the benchmarks without sharing.

Honest limits

• Items are matched by name (ignoring accents, case and punctuation) — different names for the same repair aren't grouped
• With few shops, the ends of the range are real prices from specific shops (without saying which)
• Needs the app paired and the market-prices module active
